The work that we do is difficult
and challenging. It requires strong commitment to the community,
much perseverance and the faith that, hopefully, one day
in the future our services will no longer be necessary.
Until that day, we will work to maintain our vigour, flexibility,
and responsiveness to the needs of the vulnerable young
women in our society.
We will only be able to thrive
and to continue with our work by the generosity of other
people and their belief in our capacity to change lives.
Each contribution to Omid-e-Mehr, no matter how small, from
grants to corporate gifts to individual contributions, directly
improves the lives of underprivileged young women in some
vital way and we value each and every donation.
You can help make a difference by volunteering time, by fundraising for us, by engaging in academic research on topics that are of importance to us, or simply by making a donation

| Volunteering: |
- In the United Kingdom we need volunteers for administration, grant writing, program planning, fundraising, and legal work.
- In Iran we need volunteers for administration, accounting, teaching (English language, IT, accounting, architectural design and drafting, etc.), medical services, psychiatric counselling, translation, artistic training, fundraising, and networking with prospective employers.
- In the USA we need a volunteer for legal work in setting up an exempt Internal Revenue Code 501 (c)(3) organisation for fundraising purposes.

- Organise a fundraising drive in your own community or circle of friends using supporting materials provided by us.

- We need to encourage scholars to analyse and study the social issues that are central to our work. Contact us to discuss specific needs.

- On-line donation: Click here to make an online donation using your credit/debit card. Please note that donations will be processed through the Charities Aid Foundation, a UK registered charity.

- Payroll Giving (UK only): If you are employed by a UK company that has a payroll giving scheme, you will find this to be a tax-efficient way of donating straight from your pay to Friends of Omid. The donation will come out of your pay before you get taxed and the gift is worth more, because the money you would have given to the Inland Revenue comes to us instead.
