Omid-e-Mehr girls win photo contest
Work by two girls from the Omid-e-Mehr center in Tehran, has been selected as winners in a prestigious photo contest. The Iranian Photographers' Center (I.P.C) held the photo contest last month with more than 250 artists presenting over 1,400 pictures, from around Iran. One of the themes was “In Search of Meaning” which included the photos by Somayeh Hoseyni and Simin Moadab from Omid-e-Mehr. The works were the results of two separate photography workshops in summer and fall of 2011 taught by Mr. Mehrdad Asgari at the center. Just 60 pictures were chosen as the top photos of the competition including those by Somayeh and Simin. Well done to both the girls, we are very proud of their achievement.
The two award winning photographs shown below are available for sale, each in an edition of 10 (size 40 x 60 cm). Show your support for our photography workshops by buying today →
