Farzaneh came here when she was 16 from a juvenile detention center. The baby born after she was raped by her brother-in-law had been taken away from her and put into care.
She was in such a bad state that she had been mistakenly diagnosed as psychotic. But after some time at the center, Farzaneh was able to join our program.
Farzaneh is staying at the center's residential home and progressing in art and English. We have located her two year-old son and she visits him regularly.
